Candace's Story
"I didn’t always know I would end up in podcasting. When I started university, I had my sights set on becoming a drama therapist. But in my second year, everything changed. A friend invited me to join his music radio show one evening, and from the moment I stepped into the studio, I was hooked. I co-hosted the show for the rest of the year, launched my own programmes, and found a new passion for audio storytelling.​​​
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on projects across various genres, collaborating with high-profile talent and producing content that informs, entertains, and inspires. Some of my career highlights include producing Oti Mabuse’s Dancing Legends (BBC Radio 4), Constantly Evolving with Eve (BBC Sounds), and Can’t Live Without (Comedy Central UK).​
But my journey in audio wasn’t just about climbing the ranks—it was about finding a way to make this incredible medium accessible to more people."
